rhapsody in indigo

  • an effusively enthusiastic or ecstatic expression of feeling
  • a musical composition of irregular form having an improvisatory character

"enthusiastic... expression",
"irregular... improvisatory"
-- pretty much what indigo dying is all about!

4 t-towels and a t-shirt:
buttons and elastics
folds and clips
elastic tails
threaded gathers
classic bullseye

So gorgeous! Takes me back to grade 8 art class - fond memories indeed.

While I have your attention, I thought I'd let you know that there are over 3 dozen Chocolate Diablo cookies (and some other stuff) in 3 Care Packages sent to 3 Sons. Thanks for the inspiration. Hope they like them. We do!! :)

    1. grade 8 art class wasn't exactly the effect I was going for... but I think you're saying it looks authentic to the era?...
Glad you enjoy the cookies -- lucky boys!

Okay, so I need to clarify. What I'm saying is that it took me back to the creative process and how much I loved that. The results were no where near as sophisticated and obviously of a designer quality as your results. Our stuff looked like, well, a grade 8 art project. So, absolutely no comparison there.
