Flower-fashion-photoshoot

While surfing this morning (the internet, not the ocean), I came across this "Free People" shoot. This clothing company is known for their flowy 70's-hippie-reminicent style and their photos always have that old-style Polaroid-film quality to them.

Next, I thought I'd have a look at some photos still on my own camera and I was struck by the fashion-shoot look of these garden shots. Is it just me or does it look like this peony is posing alluringly for the camera?

Lets face it; peonies are the floozies of the garden. The here-for-a-good-time-not-a-long-time beauties of spring and definitely worthy of a photo shoot I think!

Where's "on my nightstand"? I've reserved "Sleepwalkers Guide...." but need more.

    1. sadly my nightstand reading was even slower than my blog updating so it seemed silly to have it there. Currently reading "The Shipping News" for book club -- but maybe you've read that already. I read Alan Doyle's autobiography too -- entertaining, a glimpse of life on "the rock", but not really a literary gem.

Okay. I've read both of those. I think Sleepwalkers will be at the library today so all is well. Just finished Sue Monk Kidd's "The Invention of Wings". It was fantastic.

p.s. Had to identify bread yesterday to prove I was not a robot.
