-- part 2 --

It wouldn't be a trip to the cabin if it didn't include some sort of "project". This was something we had often talked about doing before, but when opportunity (ie: no guests using the second bedroom) combined with inspiration (in the form of a visit to a cool lunch spot near Seattle with a similar decor vibe), we knew it just had to be done!

These photos are not so great... indoors + cloudy weather make for less than ideal photography. Combine that with the fact I was more interested in getting down to painting than documenting the process -- just trust me the "before" photos are not deliberately awful and the "afters" don't really do justice to the transformation, but you get the idea.

And as that was so successful, we didn't stop there!

It's rustic, it's cozy, but it also let's the light shine in! Can't wait to get back there again!

I love it!!!! It is so fresh and bright and cool! What a difference. Rearranging the furniture in the bedroom is brilliant too. Great job!

    1. I think it will make a big difference in the winter especially -- it really gives the place a very different feel!

And a new bullet riddled stop sign to round out the decor.
