a moment of serenity
This is it. The last week of preparations before the big event. And so today I'm going to remind myself (and you) to take a moment or two to calm down. Just breathe. Do something enjoyable, relaxing, and not holiday related. In fact, we need to do this every day this week. And maybe beyond too. A few ideas:
- go to drop-in yoga or meditation or zoomba or whatever. Try something you've never done before because classes will be less populated this week and maybe a bit more casual too.
- read a whole chapter of a really good book. Don't stop till you're done. Turn off your phone.
- go out to a movie
- put on a favourite album or CD and dance to the whole thing
- have a bubble bath
- take a nap
