The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
The good -- the stonework that's going up to cover the old red, crumbling, brick chimney like a giant jigsaw puzzle.
The bad -- the weather has turned which means two things. 1) we need to keep the heat running in the house to cure the drywall mud, even though there is no door between the house and the garage, and 2) the painters had to stop work due the rain. Wait a minute, that's actually a good thing because...
The Ugly -- is the paint colour!
How is it that something that looks lovely on a paint chip on a sunny day, can look terrible on the siding on a cloudy one (look under the gable). It's pink, and it doesn't go at all with the trim colour. But, in the words of my favourite French-Canadian drywaller, "Ve can fix zis! Ve have ze technologie!" The designer is on her way.
