the importance of being labelled

Labelling can be a bad thing. Like labelling people, or buying something just for the name on its label... But sometimes labelling is a very good thing. Like when I made clothes for the kids when they were little; they couldn't tell the front from the back if I didn't put a label in it like bought clothes had. Or at the cabin where we label the date something is opened in the pantry; it's amazing how quickly a year or two can pass before a Costco-sized something ever gets finished.
So I made labels. Mostly, the labels just say "Hey, I made this for you" without me having to say the actual words.

I am so honored you made this for me - INCLUDING the precious label. I love it and will put it to good and happy use. It was wonderful to see you all this weekend too. Tons of fun; thank you so much for your hospitality and graciousness. xo

I have been showing it off to all my friends, bragging that my awesome aunt made it for me! I have to guard it carefully now, there have been some theft attempts.
