from wallflower to party girl!

Twenty-some years ago, my Mother-in-Law gave us a chair. She'd had it refurbished and reupholstered and it was a beaut! I've always loved that chair.
It has stood up well over the past 2 decades, but lately it was starting to look a bit, well, tired.

Perched in the midst of the newly renovated house, it didn't look "eclectic" as I had hoped, so much as just "out of place" and several people commented on it. Poor old chair.

Choosing new fabric to recover a piece is always the hardest part. Things look great on the roll (or not) but it's hard to envision them on an actual piece of furniture, especially when changing styles. While I think this one was called something like "chrysanthemum", it looked more like fireworks to me and seemed just the thing to bring this old chair back to life.

No longer a shrinking violet --this old chair is ready to join the party!

I have a similar chair given to us about the same time by My Mom/Your Mother-In-Law. If I provided the fabric, would you DoOver our chair too? You do SUCH fantastic work!!
