Potentially treacherous conditions made us leave the cabin a day early this year. That's the thing about snow; wreaks havoc on travel plans, but at the same time, it sure is pretty.
Pretty indeed. Prettier when you don't have to shovel it. Although having said that, shoveling snow with my Dad when we were kids at home wasn't a chore - it was a fun thing I did with my Dad and now I'm glad I have those memories.
Oh! I hope the younger generation was thinking just that as they helped to shovel the way to the outhouse, the sauna, the pizza oven..... etc. Luckily for us, shoveling snow is a bit of a novelty as there isn't much at home!
