Photographer-Son-the-Younger (because they are both accomplished photographers), is moving on up to bigger and better things (in oh so many ways, but, for the purposes of this blog post, in photography). He has outgrown, so to speak, his first "real" camera and purchased a fancy-shmancy new one. Never being one to turn down the offer of a hand-me-down (or -up or -over for that matter), I have quite happily adopted the "old" one with the caveat I need some lessons to go with it.
We went for a walk in the park for my first such lesson; here are a few of the shots -- raw and uncut in fact -- just to prove that it's all about the camera and nothing about the photographer.

No, I don't actually believe that part about it only being the camera, but I do know I have a lot to learn and knowing photos like these can happen almost by accident is pretty encouraging! Stay tuned, there will be more!
How fabulous that Photographer-Son-The-Younger's old camera got a DoOver! Glad you ended the post with the confession that you don't actually believe it is all about the camera -- I was getting all set to chastise you :) Beautiful photos indeed, and they are all about you and your vision.
