Tucson part 3 -- cacti and succulents

We went on amazing walks on this trip -- from the brilliant "Turquoise Trail" (which was literally a turquoise line to follow, painted right on the sidewalk and snaking all around the downtown core) to hikes through the desert where there were ample warnings about respecting venom and cacti -- yup, they get my respect! And through it all, that. blue. sky.








Thank you Tucson -- what a sunny way to celebrate a 30th wedding anniversary!

    Awesome photos! What a landscape!! Do you know what type of tree is in the 3rd photo? Nice sandals btw��

      That is actually not a tree at all. It's the bloom of an agave plant... Parry's Agave I think. Desert plants are so different -- it's like walking into a Dr. Seuss book!
