ours
It's ours.
As of today.
It took many months to get here, but today all the docs have been signed and it's really home!
From the butter yellow of the stucco house,
to the brilliant red of the Dogwood branches,
to the vibrant green of the baby firs in the North West field,
to the steel grey of the metal gates,
to the beady black of the eyes of the mice in the basement...
It's not all rosy. It's a farm, I'm realistic.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Welcome home. It is lucky to have you and Your Man to take care of it.
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks. It does feel like the place has a personality -- like we have a new member of the family!
